Wreck Diver

Description

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are fascinating to explore and usually teem with aquatic life.

You will learn the techniques required to survey and explore wrecks, as well as learning the basics of  safely entering  a wreck with people who do that as often as they are given a chance to! Line laying techniques, gas planning considerations, equipment setup, emergency procedures… The course is demanding and requires your personal dive skills to already be sharp, but the rewards you get once you penetrate the darkness of a machine room or the bridge of a sunken ship make it worth every second of your training!

Prerequisites

• Advanced Diver
• 15 years old

If done through PADI, the learning materials are not included in the cost.

This course is offered through NAUI, SNSI and PADI.
